At the United Nations ( Part 1 )
As chairman of the ad-hoc committee of the 6th Special Session of the
General Assembly
on International Economic Order, I presented to the plenary session the draft of
the
"NEW WORLD ECONOMIC ORDER" which was adopted by consensus (May 1974).
I am seen delivering a speech, while on the podium are the President of the General
Assembly
and the Secretary General of the U.N. Mr. Kurt Waldheim.
In the photo below, I am seen with Arafat who praised the policies of Iran and its
rapid
economic development on the occasion of his visit to the U.N. in 1975.
